Tyabb Cricket Club

Tyabb Cricket Club is seeking a Captain/Coach for season 2012/2013

Established in 1892, the Tyabb Cricket Club has a long and proud history.  Currently, we field five senior teams and four junior teams, all of which compete in the Mornington Peninsula Cricket Association.  We also run a successful ‘MILO in2Cricket’ program.  Our club has excellent training facilities and the main oval has one of the best playing surfaces on the Peninsula.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

* Develop and execute a training and coaching program.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to help teach and improve cricket techniques with all players, especially younger players.

* Ability to help build club camaraderie and an enjoyable cricketing environment.          

* Ability to motivate players and lead by example. Remuneration negotiable. Applications close 17th of May, 2012.

* Sunday 27th of May - Bunnings BBQ.  Yes, that date is correct.  This will be at Bunnings HASTINGS, same deal as usual, we will need volunteers for a short shift throughout the day.  And like the airshow, the funds are vital to the club and go to benefiting EVERYONE involved in the club.
